Quicken Error OL-294 takes place when you update the accounts with the help of online services. Quicken Error Code OL-294-A normally arises when Quicken fails to get a response from the server. Before fixing the error, you must take a backup so that you will have something to fall back to if something goes wrong. You can refer to the steps mentioned below:
· Open Quicken and then click on ‘Backup and Restore’
· Click on ‘Backup Quicken File’ and then choose to ‘Backup now’
You should also switch off the automatic download transactions in the register as it will help to avoid the duplication of the transactions in the account.
· Click on ‘Edit’ and then select ‘preferences’
· Go to ‘Download transactions’ and uncheck ‘Automatically add to banking registers’ and then select ‘Ok’
