Use the below Brother Printer Offline Fix to bring your printer back online.

2. Select the Printers and Faxes option and double click on your printer icon. Doing this will open a pop-up window that contains information about the scheduled print jobs.
3. Select the Printer option from the menu and uncheck the Use Printer Offline mode if enabled.
After following the above steps, try printing a test page from your Brother printer to see if the issue is resolved or not. Although Brother printer offline issues can easily be fixed by any user, if you continue to face the issue, you can also get help from Brother Printer Support experts.
A printer going offline regularly happens because of varying conditions, particularly the WIFI, connectivity and power supply issues. Brother printer offline is no exception as it also has its share of issues.
Printer issues can be due to overload, or perhaps it may be an issue with the driver, or the network may be undergoing some connectivity problems and also loose connection might be the culprit. Trouble can happen anywhere along the line, a system hardware failure cannot also be discounted. The problem is diverse and only a critical assessment can pinpoint the actual cause, so remedial measures can be taken up.
To turn the back on ‘online’ after a valid issue happened, here are a list of steps to follow to allow the printer to go online:
Open the printers’ ‘start’ menu and click on ‘control panel’ and tap on ‘printers and faxes’ icon. This sequence of moves will open up a new window and a list of printers will appear. The list includes all the printers currently setup on the serving computer.
Double click on the icon of the printer if the user wants to reconnect online. A pop-up window will then appear, this consist of details of all current print jobs scheduled on the printer.
And last, go to ‘printer’ in the menu window and tap ‘use printer offline’ and automatically this action will reconnect the printer ‘online’ from the ‘offline’ status.
I hope these steps will be helpful to bring Brother printer Online.

To check which printer driver is working, do the following:
Turn the Brother machine on. If any other machines are connected, only turn the Brother machine on that you want to use.
Open the printers folder: (Windows 8 or later)
Open the Control Panel. (Click here to see how to open the Control Panel.)
Click Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers. (Windows 7)
Click Start > Devices and Printers.
Hover the cursor over the printer icon until the printer status pop-up appears.
If the status is Ready, it means the printer driver is working correctly. Select this printer driver when printing.
If you always want to print using this printer, right-click the icon of the machine and select Set as default printer. The check mark will appear on the machine's icon and when you next print, this printer driver will be selected automatically.
Hope this helps.
