I have heard that this fix has not yet been addressed by the developers because of their reduced workforce due to the pandemic. They have said in their blog that it is going to take some time to figure out a solution since every one of the developers is staying and working at home. They will have to take a look at the code in its original form to truly address the bug. And to do that, they have to go to their office to inspect it personally.
