Tumblr is launching its first monthly subscription service with Gen Z in mind. Post Plus is a new paid feature that lets content creators charge their subscribers monthly for access to exclusive content.

"Post+ is the only place Gen Z creators can get support from the communities they create - on the same platform," a Tumblr spokesperson said Wednesday.SLOTXO

Tumblr creators can charge $4, $6, or $10 a month for premium content. But the free content is not going anywhere. Post Plus followers can like. comment and blog Plus posts again,

and get notified when their favorite creators post Post Plus videos, new images and more. Users can also share their opinions on the Post Plus feature.

Microblogging sites are the latest platform to woo creators with subscription tools that help them make money. This year, both Twitter and launched services that let people publish subscription newsletters.
