You will not need a premium version of the app usually as alsmost all the videos and services are free currently. But there is also a paid premium version through in app purchase which give you access to its premium video streaming service.

Is Mobdro available on apple devices (iPhone / iPad / iOS)
No, Mobdro is only available on Android devices currently but iOS version of the app should come out soon.
